Calculus can identify innovations that can be of “general and continuous use” from the early beginning of a given R&D project and can receive wide acceptance from various audiences, like industrial fora, commercial sections or regulators. It does so by continuous monitoring of the project activities to ensure that the innovations produced can function in the real world and follow the principles of standardization.The company ensures that the R&D project results are compatible and interoperable with other technologies and comply with the EU product directive and other legislation.Calculus can guide the preparation of a CEN Workshop to prepare a CWA (CEN Workshop Agreement) that will gather the wider possible acceptance of the R&D results and can even lead to the preparation of formal Standards.

For every project a custom made detailed project management plan is developed. The plan describes the indicators, the reporting procedures, schedule and the management of the project progress..

Through a thorough analysis identifies the hazards and the risk factors that have the potential to cause harm and evaluate the risk associated with the particular hazard. The company’s scientists and engineers determine the appropriate ways to eliminate the hazard or control the risk.
We support the concept of safety by design in order to eliminate or control safety risks in materials and processes by early identification of potential risks. In a second step we redesign the procedures in order to eliminate those risks at the design stage.
